Welcome to Mountain Top Inn & Resort! We have a variety of lodging options to choose from, including Log Cabins, Lodge Rooms, and Inn Rooms. Each of our log cabins is individually owned & decorated to reflect the homeowner's tastes. We do have some cabins that are dog friendly (please call for availability). Our lodge rooms are the cabin version of a hotel room with wooden interior and rocking chairs on the back porch overlooking the valley. Our newly renovated Inn rooms are located right in the heart of the Mountain Top village. We are surrounded by Roosevelt State Park, nestled just between both areas of attraction: Pine Mountain and Warm Springs, Georgia, only minutes from Callaway Gardens.

Location & Directions
AS OF SEPTEMBER 1ST, THE BRIDGE ON COUNTY LINE ROAD IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION. IF YOU ARE COMING FROM ATLANTA OR NORTH OF THE PROPERTY, PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS:
Take I-85 South to Exit 21 to merge onto I-185 South toward Columbus. Take Exit 42 for US-27 Pine Mountain. Turn left onto Hwy 27 South. Drive approximately 11 miles to Pine Mountain. At the traffic light with the Chevron Station on the left, turn left onto GA-354. Drive 2.5 miles to the Rock Bridge. Do not go under the bridge. Make a slight right onto the up ramp. At the top of the bridge, turn left onto Hwy 190. Drive 3.5 miles. You will see mile marker signs on your right; When you see mile marker 7, slow down & make your next left at the Mountain Top entrance onto Hines Gap Rd. Drive approximately 1 mile and make a left at the stone gate onto Royal Lodge Drive. Continue to the top of the hill following signs to the check-in office.
We are conveniently located between the towns of Pine Mountain and Warm Springs, GA surrounded by Roosevelt State Park. Directions are supplied with confirmation letters, but for more detailed directions, please see our directions page.Our office is located at 177 Royal Lodge Drive, Warm Springs, GA 31830. Using this address with your GPS, Google Maps or Waze will typically bring you directly to our front door. However, should you need further assistance, please feel free to call 706.663.4719 and select "1" when prompted. One of our Reservationists will be happy to assist you.
You must be at least 18 years of age or older with a valid credit card to rent one of our guest or lodge rooms. You must be 21 years of age or older with a valid credit card to rent our private log cabins.
All units are non-smoking.
Our seventeen room Lodge and a selection of cabins are dog-friendly with a non-refundable pet deposit (please search cabins or call our reservations desk).
Minimum night stay requirements
For Cabins - We generally have a 2 night minimum in our Log Cabins. There are a few holidays that require 3 night minimums (Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc.) and Thanksgiving requires a 4 night minimum. If you are only able to stay 1 night, we still might be able to accommodate you. Keep in mind, one night cabin rentals will require an additional fee. Please call our reservations desk for details.
For Lodge & Guest Rooms - There is generally no minimum night stay in our rooms. There are a few holidays that require 2 night minimum stays (Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc.).
How to make a reservation
You can easily book online 24/7 or if you have specific questions, simply give us a call & we'll be happy to help reserve the perfect unit for you! To book online, simply search the dates you're interested in and choose the unit that works best for you. You can also view availability and book online from each cabin page. To make a reservation over the phone, feel free to call us during our business hours at 706-663-4719 or 800-533-6376. A confirmation of your reservation will be emailed, mailed, or faxed to you, depending on your preference, after receipt of the full deposit.
How much is due at the time of booking?
In order to confirm a reservation, we require a payment of 50% of your total stay. Until your reservation is guaranteed, rates are subject to change without notice.
Acceptable payment methods
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). The credit card that was used to make the reservation must be presented at check-in along with a photo ID.
When is the balance due?
For overnight stays, the full balance is due at check-in. Any additional charged amounts owed can be applied to your card on file or another valid card upon check-out.
For group reservations, please contact your Event Coordinator for balance due dates.
Check In & Check Out
Check-in is 3:00 pm. In order to allow the time needed to prepare each unit to our standards, we cannot promise early check-in. We will provide you with 2 keys and a highlighted map to get to your unit. Most cabins are within a 1/2 mile radius of the office. Our Lodge Rooms are located approximately 1 mile from our check-in office & our Guest Rooms are located adjacent to our office. You are more than welcome to call the morning of arrival to see if you can access your unit any earlier than 3 pm or inquire about the availability of late check-outs.
Check-out time is no later than 11:00 am. You do not have to clean the unit prior to checking out, but we will provide you with a list of checkout instructions upon arrival that we ask you to follow to ensure the unit is left in a safe condition. If you have not completed check-out prior to 11:00 am by returning your keys to the office or placing them in a drop box and have not arranged a late check-out with the office, a late check-out fee of $50-$100 (depending on unit) will be applied.
Should you arrive after our office closes, we will provide a late arrival envelope at our office with your last name & confirmation # that will include 2 keys to your unit, a highlighted map & written directions. Please note: you MUST come to the office the following day before 11:00am to complete the check-in procedure and take care of your balance. If you have not completed check-in by 3:00pm, the remainder of your balance will be charged in full to your card on file. For questions or concerns, please call our office before we close for the day.
If at any time during your stay, you have locked yourself out of your unit and need assistance, we will gladly help you regain access with proper identification. During normal business hours, please call 706.663.4719 and choose Option "1" for Front Desk. Should you need assistance after hours, a call to the same number will prompt our answering service and the Manager on Duty will be called to assist you. For lost or unreturned keys, $10 per key will be charged to the credit card on file.
What to bring for Log Cabin accommodations
We provide you with all linens (for the maximum number of guests your unit accommodates). For linen exchange, please contact the office during normal business hours. If you are staying in a log cabin please remember to bring items such as soap, toilet paper, dish liquid, dishwasher detergent, washing machine detergent, garbage bags, etc. We will provide initial supplies, but if you are staying longer than two nights, we recommend that you bring additional supplies. Should you forget these items some may be available at the front desk for an extra charge. During colder months, we sell firewood and fire logs in the lobby for units with a fireplace. During warmer months, don't forget your beach towels to use at our swimming pool.
Log Cabin Cleaning Fee
If you are staying in a private log cabin, a one-time cleaning fee will be charged per stay. Cleaning fee amounts vary based on the size of each cabin and will be included in your total stay amount and documented on your confirmation letter.
Excessive Cleaning/Damage Policy/Missing Items/Maximum Occupancy/Parking Capacity
All renters are responsible for any damages, missing items or excessive clean up incurred to the unit during their stay. The prices for these will be determined according to the housekeeping/maintenance required.
There is a Non-Smoking Policy in all of our accommodations, however smoking on outside porches is permitted.
The number of occupants is restricted to the maximum number listed on our website for each unit (this includes children). If Mountain Top Inn & Resort determines that more guests are in the unit than were paid for, the guest will be charged accordingly (please see max. guests for each unit) or could be asked to leave with no refund of monies paid.

Group rentals (3 or more cabins)

Due to liability issues, we require a copy of a valid license and credit card to hold while you are viewing one of our rental properties. These items will be returned to you after we receive the keys for all units that have been viewed. Only 2 properties may be viewed at a time. Properties can only be viewed during normal office hours. You must be here at least 1 hour prior to closing.
Pet Policy/Non-Refundable Pet Cleaning Fee - Dogs Welcome in select cabins!
If you need to book a dog friendly unit, please call our office as you cannot book these units online at present. We only have a select few cabins that are dog friendly so please use the cabin search feature to find one that works for you.
There is a $20 per day non refundable pet cleaning fee, not to exceed $100 per stay with a maximum of 2 dogs. Pet owners must keep dogs on a leash at all times when outside the unit. Dogs must never be left inside unit unattended unless crated.
Pet owners are responsible for any damages to unit or injuries to guests/staff resulting from their pet. All pets must be disclosed at time of making reservation and will be verified upon check-in. If it is found that you have brought a pet into our units without notifying our office or brought a pet into a non-pet unit, a non-refundable $250 fee will be charged to your account and you could be asked to leave without a refund of the remainder of your stay. Dogs must be current on all vaccinations.
Special Access Needs
Our Lodge Rooms and Guest Rooms do not have an elevator. If you require a unit that is on the main floor or has a ramp, please contact us so that we can make sure you are in the best unit to suit your needs.
Your unit will have linens and towels for the maximum number of guests the unit accommodates. To give our guests privacy during their stay, we do not enter your accommodations for housekeeping (in cabins only). If you would like to exchange towels or linens, please contact the front desk/office. If there is a Do Not Disturb sign on the door while housekeeping is there, we unfortunately do not come back later in the day. Guests in our Lodge and Guest Rooms have access to complimentary ice buckets at our front desk/office.
Our units do not have telephones. Cell phone coverage varies depending on your carrier, but seems to work in most locations on the mountain.
Substitution of Accommodations
Mountain Top Inn reserves the right to substitute comparable units without notice in the event of a property sale or unforeseeable maintenance is required to the unit you requested. In the rare event a substitution is necessary, we will do everything we can to contact you to make you aware of the change. If a comparable unit is not available, we will provide you with other Mountain Top Inn rental options to choose from.
We will do everything possible to make sure your unit is ready for you when you arrive and all equipment is in good working order, however it is impossible to guarantee that all appliances and other various equipment is in great working order 100% of the time. Please let the Front Desk know of any problems you might encounter as soon after check in as possible so that we will have the opportunity to correct this for you before our lobby closes for the day. If something is not working properly, we will make every effort to get it working for your stay. We do attempt to correct all deficiencies while you are lodging with us and will keep your privacy in mind, however there will be no refunds or adjustments due to mechanical failures. If you need to contact us after hours, and it is an emergency, please call either 800-533-6376 or 706-663-4719 and press "0" after listening to the message. We have a 24 hour a day answering service in case of emergencies. If it is not an emergency and it can wait, please contact us the following day during normal business hours.
Lost and Found
Please note: if you have left any item behind, please contact us as soon as you can. We are not responsible for any items left behind or lost. If you've found that you are missing something and we are able to locate it, we will be glad to box the item up and ship it to you for the shipping cost.
Fireplaces, Campfires, Fireworks
The majority of our cabins are equipped with wood burning rock fireplaces. We do not provide the wood but do sell it in the lobby as a seasonal item. Fireplaces are not operational during the months of April through September. For units with gas fireplaces, at no time should any item be put in the fireplace. Additional charges will apply if these gas fireplaces are damaged. For all other wood burning fireplaces, only wood and paper may be burned, NOT plastics, food, magazines, etc. Candles may be used in units as long as they are contained in a glass jar and closely watched. Renters will be responsible for any damages including spilled wax.
