General Information

 

General:

In keeping with our policy of impeccable service, you will be assigned an event manager to assist with your event. You will be introduced to the banquet supervisor on duty the day of your event. Any last minute concerns that arise can be addressed to either the Banquet Supervisor on Duty or your Event Manager.


Event & Food Deposit and Cancellation Policy:

50% of deposit is due at time of booking. If event is cancelled within 90 days of the scheduled day, you will receive a full refund of said deposit. However, if cancelled inside of the 90 days the deposit will be forfeited. Full payment is due 30 days prior to event, inside of 30 days payment is non-refundable.


Food & Beverage Guarantee:

Confirm expected number of guest 14 business days in advance of event, and once received number may not be decreased. The expected number of guests will act as the final guarantee number if the final count is not received at least 3 business days prior to event.


Food & Beverage Policy:

Our catering department provides outstanding food and value for our catered events. If you choose to use an outside catering company, there will be a $1500 additional fee. 

Limited Liability:

Mountain Top Inn reserves the right to inspect and control all private events, entertainment, and receptions being held on premise. Mountain Top Inn accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of personal property. Clients accept liability in case of damage to venues or any Mountain Top Inn property.


Rehearsals:

Rehearsals will be scheduled closer to the actual event date by your Event Manager. The rehearsal will be based on space and availability. Rehearsals are limited to 1 hour.


Lodging:

You will receive lodging discounts when you book your event. Our Event Manager and Reservation Staff will assist you in choosing the lodging that best suits your event. You will receive a separate confirmation letter for lodging (as it is booked separate from your event) *cancellation fees will apply*


Venue:

The venue rental will include: the set-up & break down of all tables and chairs, cleaning of venue(s), chairs, tables, one fitted table cover, and one table topper with your choice of white, black, or cream. Any special linens or equipment rentals will be subject to additional fees. Please contact your event manager for more information.


Tastings:

Consultations with our Chef can be arranged for private tastings. The cost of the tasting will be based on agreed selections from the chef and client. Generally, private tastings will allow up to 4 people. A minimum of 14 days notice is required based on availability.


Photography:

We encourage guests to take photos of the event and the resort property in order to create everlasting memories. Mountain Top Inn & Resort reserves the right to use the photographs (photos taken on MTI property) for future advertising or promotion without consent.


Audio/Visual Equipment:

Some audio/visual equipment and materials are available through Mountain Top Inn and Resort. Please give a minimum 30 days notice in order for us to secure equipment for your event. Also, due to power and size constraints, Mountain Top Inn and Resort must approve and be in contact with your entertainment.
