Hi everyone, Maria here from Mountain Top Inn and Resort. We are situated in the middle of FDR State Forest in the beautiful southwestern Georgia mountains. We are a short drive from Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, and Alabama. We have guests from all over the world, actually.

Our location is quite spectacular as we are situated in between the towns of Warm Springs and Pine Mountain. Warm Springs has the Little White House and such historic value. Pine Mountain is where you can find Callaway Gardens and the animals safari. There are so many things to do here. The state park is filled with hiking trails and it’s just minutes away. You can look over the vistas of Dowdell’s Knob while you’re here or you can just stay on your porch, kick up your feet and relax a little bit.

If you’ve ever dreamed of getting away to the mountains or having a romantic getaway this is definitely the place for you with an unlimited number of options. We have cabins of every size with every type of amenity. We have inn rooms and lodge rooms and just about any kind of configuration for your group and your family for whatever your needs might be. We have incredible weddings, family reunions, birthday parties, and graduations. This is just a definite place to get away from it all. If you’re looking to reconnect with nature or if you are stuck in a city or a cubicle all day and you long to get away to the mountains, this is definitely the place for you. The cabins have porches that overlook the mountainside and some are nestled deep in the forest where you can have complete privacy. We have hot tubs and fireplaces and anything that you could probably imagine for getting away to mountain scenery. We have our beautiful lawns here in our landscape. We also have big fire pits and our seasonal pool. We have barbecue grills as well.

You can come here with the whole family or just the two of you or just by yourself. We have some people that love to come here year after year. Families that constantly come back over and over again. Our chapel that’s on-site has seen many generations get married here. And we are so proud of that fact. The lodge that’s just situated down the road has an incredible mountain vista of the state forest with big back porches where you can hang out and relax. Plus, there is a nice lawn out there where you can have family picnics and barbecues. Some of those rooms have fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs. You really should just call us for the experience and at our front desk, we’ll be happy to walk you through all of the different options we have. We have groups that come here every year to get away from it all or to have meetings. Everything you can imagine – church groups, families, graduation parties, and weddings.
